Our neighbors had a get together for New Year's Eve last night.  They were so kind (and brave) to have everyone over.  The kids played and were able to stay awake until midnight when everyone cheered, "Happy New Year!!!"
May the year be one of happiness and love for you and yours.  God Bless You and have a Happy 2013!

It sounds like you had a fun night!
I was in bed by 11 :/
I would love to have a NYE party but the last time I did I was praying everyone would leave at 12am SHARP!
Happy New Year! Ok bye bye now!
That isn't the most gracious host.
In all fairness I was pregnant.
Maybe when the girls get a bit bigger I will have a grand NYE party!

Happy New Year Nadine!!! Yes! When your girls are older maybe you can try it again! It's so much fun for them to stay up ridiculously late and count down for the ball to drop. It was nice for the grown ups too. It's hard to beat getting together with a good group of friends to ring in the New Year. I promise it will get easier as your girls get older. If you could throw a party as a preggo mama with twins...Wow Girl! You can do anything!!!

I can imagine how excited your children were last night!! I loved staying up to watch the ball drop when I was a kid.

I was shocked I was able to cook and stay awake last NYE when I was pregnant. I did run right up the stairs at 12:01am :) My husband let everyone out and I was asleep by 12:03am!!

That is TOO Funny!!! The same thing happened with our little girl...she was up for the ball to drop, then five minutes later...out. It really was a fun night. It's hard to believe that it's already a new year!

She did, bless her heart. It will be fun as your girls get older to have New Year's with them. A lot of our friends do it at 7:00 or so - so their kids still get to bed at a good hour. That is a really good idea! When our kids are a LOT older, I would Love to all go to New York City as crazy as that sounds. It would be so cool to do just once though! Woo Hoo!
